The campus of Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology for Women was filled with joy, excitement, and vibrant energy on 14th November 2024 as the institute hosted a grand Freshers’ Day Celebration to welcome the 2024 admitted batch. The event was organized to provide a warm and memorable reception to the newcomers, helping them feel at home and fostering a sense of belonging to the college community.

Event Highlights:

1. Welcome Address:
   The celebration began with a formal welcome address by the Principal, who greeted the freshers with motivating words. He highlighted the importance of their journey ahead and the institute’s commitment to nurturing their talents and aspirations.
2. Lighting of the Lamp:
   A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolized the beginning of a new chapter for the freshers, accompanied by a melodious invocation song by senior students.
3. Cultural Performances:
   The event witnessed a series of energetic and captivating cultural performances by both seniors and juniors, .
4. Fun Games and Activities:
   A variety of fun-filled games and activities were organized to engage the freshers and foster team bonding. These included quizzes, treasure hunts, and group games that brought out their competitive and creative spirit.
5. Mr. and Ms. Fresher Contest:
   The most awaited part of the day was the Mr. and Ms. Fresher Contest, where students participated enthusiastically in rounds such as:

The winners were crowned amidst cheers and applause, marking a memorable moment for the freshers.

On 29th August 2024, Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology for Women hosted a grand Induction Program to welcome the 2K24 admitted batch of students. The program was designed to acquaint the new students with the institute's culture, values, and academic framework while inspiring them to embark on their transformative educational journey with enthusiasm and confidence.

The Induction Program was a resounding success. It marked the beginning of a new chapter for the students, equipping them with the knowledge, support, and inspiration to achieve academic and personal excellence at Priyadarshini Institute of Science and Technology for Women.
