Objectives of the Committee

• To direct the students to implement the following functions to curb the ragging in the campus.
• To conduct the periodic meetings and counselling for the students.
• To make the students aware of dehumanizing effect of ragging.
• Committee members are requested to meet at least once in a semester or as often required to resolve and address ragging issues if any in the campus.
• All the members are required to make every effort to keep the campus ragging free.

 Functions of the Committee

• Educating students:

The committee conducts awareness programs and workshops to educate students about the definition of ragging, its harmful effects, and the legal consequences of participating in such activities. 

• Creating awareness:

Posters, banners, and other forms of communication are used to disseminate information about anti-ragging policies and the committee's role. 

• Monitoring:

The committee actively monitors the campus, including hostels, canteens, and other common areas, to identify and prevent potential ragging incidents. 

• Counseling and guidance:

Freshers and their parents are provided with counseling and guidance to address any concerns about ragging and to promote a positive and inclusive environment. 

• Affidavit collection:

Students and their parents are required to sign affidavits affirming that they will not participate in ragging
