Objectives of the committee

• To increase number of admissions for the courses offered.
• To guide the admission team and monitor the admission process
• To give advertisement, counselling and organise camps.
• To participate in various meetings and strengthen the admission process
• To maintain the smooth and transparent admission process in the college.
• To recommend change in the process of admission to the management it necessary
• To plan the day-to-day activities of the committee.

Functions of the committee

• This committee helps to get maximum admissions to the college.
• It acts as a bridge between college committees and faculty members in the college furthermore it gives suggestions in terms of admissions.
• It checks all the necessary original certificates of the students who have come for admission.
• It maintains a file for the students’ certificates
• It provides admission for the eligible students.
• It submits the list of admitted students to the principal.
• It receives applications from the candidates and examines them well and decides whether the candidate is eligible or not and then provides his/ her admission.
• This committee establishes and implements the criteria for admission or enrolment of the students to the college for all the courses according to the University and College Council regulations.
• The Committee will lays down the detailed procedure to be followed for admission and ensures the same has been implemented / followed.
• The Committee will identify and approves for admission suitable qualified candidates and displays the merit list as per schedule predetermined by the University and college council.
• Analyze the changes required in the admission policies of the previous years so as to improvise the system and the process.
